I have been familiar with the work and contribution of Tony Robbins for a couple years, mainly around leadership, building personal success and inter-personal communication tips. The Netflix documentary ‘I am not your Guru” following his work during the Date to Destiny event in Florida, really pushed me over the edge this year
Nevermind that two of my close friends worked for him in the 90s, as his business is based in San Diego where i lived for many years. How did I not get exposed to this before? I guess when you’re ready, your teacher appears!
I made the commitment to attend the UPW 2017 event in London this year and it was truly transformational. So much energy from this man handling a crowd of 10K people from 67 countries, through energy, guided meditation, exercises, talking non-stop for 12h straight and convincing us to walk on fire. Literally. What an experience witnessing people next to each others working on their deepest limiting beliefs and rejoicing and celebrating dancing and jumping around in a total immersion 4 days seminar. Personally i came back with more confidence in my self and more hope and tools to build my dreams and my future, something that sorta faded and that I almost didnt’ believe in.
I highly recommend to check the work of Tony Robbins and get interested in the material/events he puts together to help people live more passionately and overcome their fear and challenges. I happily and freely joined the international “cult” and I feel this is definitely a pivotal help in my journey.
